Nutrela Soyabean Pulao
- 1 cup Soya Chunks
- 1 tsp oil
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 small stick of cinnamon
- 1 of cardamom
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 chopped onions
- 1/2 cup green peas
- 1 1/2 cups basmati rice , washed and drained
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped coriander for the garnish
1)Soak the Soyabean in 1 cup of hot water for 15 to 20 minutes. Drain and keep aside.
2)Heat the oil in a Large skillet and add the cumin seeds,Bay leaf, cinnamon and cardamom.
3)When the cumin seeds crackle and onions and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes.
5)Add the chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander-cumin seeds powder and salt and mix well.
6)Add 3 cups of hot water and close it with lid,let it cook until water get fully soaked and rice get cooked with Soyabean.
7)Served hot garnished with the coriander.
