Stuffed sooji idli is one of the easiest appetizer recipes.The best of all is that its colorful,tasty,instant and healthy.This is also makes an excellent appetizer for parties and also a quick breakfast or lunch.

INGREDIENTS
For outer cover:
Suji /rava – 1cup
Coconut flakes- 1 cup
Oil-1 tbsp
Water- 2.5 cup
Ginger – 1 tbsp (grated)
Ginger – 1 tbsp (grated)
Green chillies – 2 (finely chopped)
Salt – to taste
For Stuffing:
Green peas – 1 cup
Garlic paste- 1 tsp
Ginger paste-1 tsp
Green chilies-2
For tadka:
Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
Chili flakes – 1 tsp
Chili flakes – 1 tsp
Onion-1 chopped
Asafoetida-1 tsp
Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp
Salt – to taste

INSTRUCTIONS
1)Take a shallow pan and switch on the gas at medium heat.
2)Add 1 tbsp oil and rava .Roast the rava until light brown.Pour the roasted sooji in a plate and let it cool down.
3)Next again put pan on gas and add oil,ginger and green chilies.
4)After step 3,add water,salt and coconut to it.
5)When it start to boil add roasted rava and keep on stirring until dry.
6)For Stuffing: add peas,ginger,green chilies,salt and water to blender.Make puree.
7)Next take a pan and put it on gas,then add oil,cumin seeds,dry chili flakes,asafoetida,garlic and Onion.Stir them altogether.

8)Next add cumin powder and Peas puree .Cook for sometime until dry.
9)Take small portion of sooji in your hand and press it flat.Then add 1tbsp of stuffing at the center and close it properly into idli shape.
10)Next take 1 tbsp oil in the pan and fry these stuffed idli slowly one by one util light brown on both the sides.
