This is a popular street food of India . Aloo tikki chaat is irresistible. It is full of flavors sweet, tangy, hot and spicy.

Ingredients

FOR ALOO TIKKI:

3 boiled potato, peeled & mashed
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp corn flour
½ tsp garam masala
½ tsp pani puru chaat powder
2-3 tsp oil, for roasting
salt to taste
½ tsp ginger-garlic paste

FOR CHAAT per serving:

2 tbsp yogurt
1 tbsp green chutney
1 tbsp tamarind chutney
pinch of red chilli powder
pinch of salt
1 tbsp onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp tomato, finely chopped
handful of sev, fine
pinch of cumin powder
pinch of chaat masala
few coriander leaves

Instructions

  • Start with taking 3 boiled potato in a bowl and mash them.
  • next,add in chilli powder, turmeric, garam masala, chaat masala, salt and ginger-garlic paste.
  • After above step add 2 tbsp corn flour and mix them well.
  • Next,roll the above mixture between your palm and press them to patties shape.
  • Take the patties and roast on hot skillet pan with oil.
  • Get ready for chaat preparation by placing the patties/tikkis in a plates and top with yogurt.
  • Next,pour green chutney, tamarind chutney, pinch of chilli powder and salt.
  • Also, top with chopped onion and tomato.
  • Start garnish with sev, pinch of cumin powder, chaat masala and coriander leaves.
  • Now, serve aloo tikki chaat recipe immediately .
