Let’s start with a this meal plan guide to simple and easy Indian meal plan for your family. Please, also make a list of the ingredients to your grocery list. You can buy groceries during the weekend and keep them ready over the weekend or if you already have it in your home then just gather it at one place.This is a time saving and no brainier.

Friday Plan- Non-Veg

Here is the list of food items to buy during the weekend /gathers if already available at home and preferably keep chopped and prepped in the fridge to make all these Indian dinner recipes. 

For Chicken Madrasi

  • 3 Tbsp refined oil
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3 green cardamom
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 small stick cinnamon
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 kg chicken, cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 green chillies, slit
  •  curry leaves
  • 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 Tbsp cashew nuts – poppy seed paste (Soak 15 cashews and 1 Tbsp poppy seed in a cup of milk for an hour. Grind it into a paste.)
  • 2 tsp chicken masala
  • 2 tsp kasoori methi
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • Chopped coriander leaves, to ganrish

For Keema Paratha

  • Ginger -garlic paste 4-6 tsp
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • Chilly powder 3/4 Teaspoons
  • Salt as per taste
  • oil 1 Teaspoons
  • Chopped onion-1
  • Chopped tomatoes -1
  • Chopped green chillies – 2-3
  • Meat (leg portion) 500 Grams
  • Turmeric Powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped coriander leaves 1/2 Bunch
  • Flour-1 bowl
  • Cumin powder  Pinch

For banana pudding cups

  • Mini fillo shells(ATHENS)=Pack of 15 baked shells
  • Vanilla instant pudding(Great Value)=Net wt 3.4OZ
  • 1 Banana
  • Almonds for garnishing
