The Palak pakoda|Spinach pakoda is a very healthy recipe.This recipe will give you crispy Palak pakoda|Spinach pakoda which is perfect snack for your evening tea,breakfast or a small friends gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cup spinach (roughly chopped)
  • 1 cup gram flour
  • 2 Tbsp corn starch
  • 2 tsp chili flakes 
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp mango powder 
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds 
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp asafetida (hing)
  • 1 tsp oil

Instructions

  1. Pour all the dry ingredients, in a bowl ,gram flour ,corn starch, coriander, cumin seeds, chili flakes, salt, mango powder, and asafetida in a bowl. Mix it well.
  2. Next add chopped spinach to it.
  3. Add water to make a dough.
  4. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a frying pan over medium high heat. To test, put one drop of batter in the oil. The batter should come up slowly.
  5. Now start pouring spoonful of batter to the pan.
  6. Fry the pakoda this will take three to four minutes per batch. Fry the pakoda, turning occasionally, until both sides are golden brown.
  7. Repeat this process for the remaining batches.
  8. Serve Palak pakoda|Spinach pakoda hot with chutney or your favorite sauce.
