Aloo Methi
Aloo methi is a very easy to cook recipe.The main ingredient is fenugreek leaves with potatoes and make it very tasty when you eat with rice or roti.This is all time veg recipe favorite.
Ingredients
2 potatoes-chopped
1 bowl methi leaves-chopped
cumin seeds-1 tsp
asefoetida-1 pinch
green chilies-2 chopped
turmeric powder- 1 tsp
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
salt- as per taste
cooking oil- 1tbsp
Instructions
1)wash and chop methi leaves and potatoes
2)In a pan add oil,cumin seeds and a pinch of asafoetida
3)Next add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
4)Next add chopped pootatoes and green chilies.
5)Next add salt and turmeric to it and stir it for few minutes.
6)Cook it with closed lid in a medium flame until potatoes become soft.
7)Next to this add methi leaves.
8)Cook methi also with closed lid until it gets smooth texture.
9)Serve hot aloo methi with roti or rice.Enjoy!!
